Lillie was one of 3 "Purebred" Maine Coon kitties that

were left being cared for by a friend when her owner passed

away suddenly.

 

The 2 brothers were taken by AZ Maine Coon Rescue and soon

to be in their forever home. Our friend ran into some issues

with her landlord and she needed to find a home for Lillie.

She also wanted to have Lillie groomed so we helped her

by having a fundraiser. We took Lillie to the groomers and

they found a few abscesses on her tail near her tail bone

area which was caused by a cat fight with one of

her other cats.

​

Georgette and I volunteered to foster Lillie and had made arrangements with Joy from AZ Maine Coon Rescue to take her

when they have room. We also had an appointment to get her abscesses checked by our vet which the expense has been

covered by one of our Maine Coon loving friends.

​

We eventually became foster failures

and Lillie became part of our family.
 

On March 2, 2021 Lillie passed away from kidney failure.
