Jasmine was a 27 year old Galapagos tortoise who died June 7, 2021

due to injuries she received from being run over by a Chevrolet pickup truck.

The would be thieves fled the scene after getting caught

in the act of attempting to steal the tortoise.

​

This horrible crime was committed in Laveen, Arizona, just south of Phoenix.

Jasmine was raised by Jerry Fife who is extremely devastated and

needs our support.

Update VIA Jerry Fife:
"Thanks to a tip from this site the vehicle used in the crime has been

found and impounded. I can't provide too much information but police

are making progress. It's a long process attaining warrants, questioning

suspects etc. We want to catch everyone involved in this crime,

not just the people that committed the act.
